Data to Intelligence: co-creating strategy with EU initiatives

The EuroGEO Marine and Coastal Action Group, led by GEO Blue Planet and GEO AquaWatch EU offices, is dedicated to closing the gap between Earth Observation (EO) data and intelligence for marine and coastal decision-making. This workshop convenes stakeholders from EU projects and initiatives engaged in the data-to-intelligence framework to co-design strategies that transform raw data into meaningful information and knowledge, ensuring alignment with key EU priorities such as the European Green Deal, the Digital Twin of the Ocean, and the European Ocean Pact.

We will be working on building together the EuroGEO Marine & Coastal Action Group, to foster collaboration within European projects to ensure their legacy and to be part of a European momentum on how observations can help to improve coastal resilience and solve ocean-related issues.
