The Marine User Days will take place on 5-6 November 2024 in Lisbon, Portugal.

This Marine User Days event is hosted by EUMETSAT. Partners include the European Commission, European Space Agency, the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts, Mercator Ocean International and the Copernicus Marine Service.

The Marine User Days event will gather current and potential users from the diverse marine community, focusing on data provided by European organizations involved in the Copernicus programme and its oceanography and marine applications. It will highlight various use cases, serving as both a showcase and networking opportunity for participants across the value chain. The event will feature a workshop to address user needs and feedback.

Emphasis will be placed on satellite data, derived products, and climate records, including contributions from EUMETSAT’s meteorological missions and the ocean and sea ice satellite applications.

Participants will come from various sectors, including policy, governance, academia, research, and commercial entities. Attendees will benefit from presenting their use cases to the broader user community, including representatives from the European Commission and Copernicus entities, offering an opportunity to discuss their needs and ideas. The workshop is open to all interested users.
